Injury Updates
- Chan Ho Park threw another bullpen session today, and could see a rehab game soon.
- Alfredo Aceves may be available tomorrow.
- Andy Pettitte will return to the rotation this coming Saturday against Minnesota.
Enjoy the game!
The Yankees will go for the sweep on a mother’s day that has been very interesting all around baseball. Dallas Braden threw a perfect game against the Rays and when the Yankees do complete the sweep they are in first place. Do you find it odd that when Mark Buherle threw his perfect game it was at his home park and against the Tampa Bay Rays? Dallas Braden did the same thing. I like the pink thing that the players do, so much so I even wore pink myself today. It’s great to see the MLB bring attention to an important cause such as Breast Cancer.
“When the Yankees do complete the sweep they are in first place.”
Don’t get cocky, haha.
I am not getting cocky! Of course I want to win tonight as a Yankees fan but I respect the game. I rather be in first place in September than in May in the final standings. It is still a marathon. But Marcus Thames is a terrible defender but it is a good offensive player but I can’t figure out why Randy Winn is not playing against lefties and is it because he is weaker against lefthanders?
I am enjoying the game! A.J. Burnett had terrible location and stuff tonight. A.J. Burnett gave up nine runs and 4 and two thirds innings. It wasn’t pretty but once in a while you get bad pitching performance. I got no clue why A.J. Burnett been pitching lousy at Fenway Park in a Yankees uniform. I am happy that we won the series but let just win series and eventually the Yankees will be in first place!
