Going into the bottom of the ninth, the Yankees were trailing 9-8. Mark Teixeira started the 9th with a walk, followed by Matsui and Cano who both singled to load the bases with nobody out for Jorge Posada. Posada worked the count, and he eventually singled to left center to score Teixeira and Angel Berroa (who pinch ran for Matsui) to end the ballgame by a final of 10-9. It was a great game, the Yankees in years past have always seemed to have a problem with the Angels, maybe this is a sign that things have changed.

Jorge smiles (for once) after hitting the walk-off single.

Tomorrow the Yankees send Carsten Charles out to the mound to face Matt Palmer and the Angels

On Sunday Phil Hughes goes for the Yankees while Joe Saunders goes for the Angels (I will be going to this game)
